 $150,000 Investment Is No Jerk

Before appearing on CBC Canada Dragon’s Den, the brothers from BKH Jerky knew they needed help to polish their investor pitch if they were going to raise $150,000 and get national exposure for the company their father built and rebuilt after it burned to the ground.

They approach Pitchmasters founder, Jason Bax, to help them polish their investor pitch.

The brothers at BKH Jerky not only got their $150,000 angel investment from the Dragon’s but the moment after the episode aired the phone started ringing off the hook and orders started rolling into their website. Twelve hours after airing they had $5000 in new orders from all over the country.
